BiteBlock (“the App”) is a digital wellbeing application that helps users control late-night eating impulses by displaying a reminder overlay when food delivery apps are opened during user-configured quiet hours.
This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.
BiteBlock does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. The App has no backend server, no analytics service, no advertising SDK, and makes zero network requests.
All data generated by the App (usage statistics, preferences, blocked app list, schedule settings) is stored exclusively on your device using Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.
The App requests the following Android permissions, each necessary for core functionality:

| Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) | Required to show the blocking overlay screen when a food delivery app is detected during quiet hours. The overlay is always dismissible by the user. |
| Usage access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS) | Required to detect which app is currently in the foreground so the App can determine whether to display the overlay. Only the most recent foreground app event is checked; no usage history is stored or transmitted. |
| Query all packages (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES) | Required to display the list of installed apps so users can select which apps to monitor. Package information is used solely for this local display and is never transmitted. |
| Foreground service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE) | Required to run the monitoring service during quiet hours. The service checks the foreground app every 3 seconds and automatically stops outside of quiet hours. |
| Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) | Required by Android to display the foreground service notification while the monitoring service is active. |
| Boot completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) | Required to restart the monitoring schedule after the device reboots. |
| Exact alarm (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM) | Required to schedule the monitoring service to start at the user-configured quiet hours start time. |
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
This data is never shared with any third party and can be cleared at any time by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App.
BiteBlock uses no third-party services. There are no analytics tools, crash reporting services, advertising networks, or cloud storage integrations. The App functions entirely offline.
BiteBlock does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The App does not collect information from any user of any age.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

본 개인정보처리방침은 앱이 사용자의 정보를 어떻게 처리하는지 설명합니다.
BiteBlock은 어떠한 개인정보도 외부 서버로 수집, 전송 또는 저장하지 않습니다. 앱에는 백엔드 서버, 분석 서비스, 광고 SDK가 없으며 네트워크 요청을 일체 하지 않습니다.
앱에서 생성되는 모든 데이터(사용 통계, 설정, 차단 앱 목록, 스케줄 설정)는 Android SharedPreferences를 통해 사용자의 기기에만 저장됩니다. 이 데이터는 기기 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.

이 데이터는 제3자와 공유되지 않으며, 앱 데이터를 삭제하거나 앱을 제거하면 언제든 삭제할 수 있습니다.
BiteBlock은 제3자 서비스를 일체 사용하지 않습니다. 분석 도구, 충돌 보고 서비스, 광고 네트워크, 클라우드 저장소 연동이 없습니다. 앱은 완전히 오프라인으로 작동합니다.
BiteBlock은 13세 미만 아동의 정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 앱은 어떠한 연령의 사용자로부터도 정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
